Oops!...I Did It Over again is the second studio album past American recording artist Britney Spears. It was released on May 3, 2000, by Jive Records. Background

After vacationing for six days after the completion of the ...Baby I More Time Bout in September of 1999, Britney returned to New York City to begin recording songs for her follow-up album. The bulk of the recording took place in November of 1999.

It featured contributions from Max Martin, Eric Foster White, Diane Warren and Babyface. The songs "Oops!...I Did It Over again", "Walk on By", "What U See (Is What U Go)" and "Don't Become Knockin' On My Door" were recorded at Martin's Cheiron Studios in the starting time calendar week of November.

The songs "Stronger" and "Lucky" were recorded, merely were finalized (along with the championship rails) in January of 2000. The song "Where Are Yous Now" was recorded at Cheiron in Nov and finished at Battery Studios in January.

Contrary to popular belief, Oops!... I Did it Once more was normally referred to as Oops! by the pop media. However, in 2002, Britney clarified this was a marketing stunt on behalf of her manager as information technology 'had a better ring to it'.
